Instructions for Application

The Harvest Institute is authorized under federal law to enroll non-imigrant alien students

To be considered for admission please submit the following documentation.

  • Completely filled out booking form
  • Bank statement showing enough funds to pay for course and living expenses for a period of one year
  • If being sponsored, send bank statement and letter from sponsor stating that He/She will be paying for your studies and living expenses. If the sponsor is currently residing in the USA, he/she should fill out a form I-134 (Affidavit of support). If the sponsor currently resides in the USA, they must either be a permanent resident or a citizen of the United States of America.
  • Make payment as required on booking form
  • Send all documents via E-mail, Mail or Fax. Including any documents you may wish to be considered in your admission such as: Diplomas, Transcripts, Letters of recommendations, etc.
  • You must either pay the SEVIS fee I-901 or request on the booking form for the school to pay for this fee for you.

For more information on this fee you may click here to visit the ICE website. As soon as we receive all the documents above mentioned we will process the application and if approved and accepted you will receive an I-20 form

Steps to follow after you receive your I-20

  • Call your local American Embassy or Consulate to set-up an interview for the student visa and ask for necessary information to be prepared for interview.
  • Take all supporting documentation to the interview stating your/your sponsor's financial ability to pay for the studies and any other documentation that might show attachments to your country.
  • When you get the visa stamped in your passport, please notify the school.
  • Send a money wire transfer for the final payment of the course of choice.
  • Purchase student tickets that will be valid for a year and insurances you might need.
  • Board the plane and “Welcome to the Harvest Institute”
